This policy setting will define how long in milliseconds to wait when contacting a domain controller before timing out. This requires the "Set password rules level" to be enabled and set to "Local length, local complexity, and domain policy checks." If you enable this policy setting, you may set how long in milliseconds to wait when contacting a domain controller before timing out. If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, the default value of 4000 milliseconds is used.
