This policy setting allows you to configure whether network files are locally cached when editing spreadsheets stored on network shares. If you enable this policy setting, a file located on a network share may not be saved if the network connection was lost at any time while editing the file and the file contains a pivot table, VBE code or an embedded OLE object. If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, network files are locally cached when editing spreadsheets stored on network shares. This may help prevent data loss during network failures.
